What makes me sadder than anything else in this world is the fact that we are all so beautiful in different ways. We are all living proof of endlessly fascinating and complex creatures yet most of us believe in only one type of beauty. I’m sure when I mention beauty most people would think of those people with big pink lips and dark legs that go on forever and forever because that is what we’ve been taught to think by models and the media constantly scrutinising people for being anything but that. All I want is to be around people who think and feel the same way I do. I see people and all I can see is beauty in everything they do. I may be romanticising people but I fail to understand why anyone with uneven skin and greasy hair and crooked teeth is not beautiful. All that matters in the end is the way you treat people and the way that you are in life. What makes me saddest is that insecure people (me being one of them) would probably never believe it. We all deserve to be told we are beautiful, because as long as you speak in words of kindness and stay understanding in all that you do, you are beautiful, and certainly worthy of being loved.
